Coatings Division
DRP Industries has a highly trained staff of painters and preppers with years of experience and training in industrial coatings. Our facility is equipped with four paint booths, ranging from an automotive finishing booth to a large commercial booth that can handle a semi-tractor trailer rig. DRP houses a wash booth that not only pressure washes parts but steam cleans them too. Our equipment allows us to work with products in excess of nine tons. We offer different types of media blast: garnet, silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, and glass bead. Although DRP is capable of many different coatings from specialty baked-on coatings to custom color/paint schemes we specialize in the two main applications: solvent-based and waterborne.
Solvent-Based Coatings
Solvent-based paints make for a heavy-duty color coating on your equipment. Whether they're used for recreation, construction, agriculture, or any other activity, machines require a durable paint to protect their structure, shield them from humidity, and keep them looking great. Using a high-quality urethane topcoat, e-coat, and an epoxy primer makes for a winning combination able to resist fading, chalking, and chemical damage. Maintaining color and gloss over time is a testament to the quality of solvent-based industrial paint coatings that are on the equipment.
Waterborne Coatings
Production products thrive with the use of waterborne paint coatings. This offers the best kind of protection against corrosion, and is incredibly fade- resistant, meaning strong color retention. Waterborne coating is also EPA-compliant, meaning that it's nonhazardous, nonflammable, non-toxic, compliant with clean air regulations, and safe for people and the environment. Even with complying in all of these areas, waterborne coatings don't compromise a job's quality or durability. This is an excellent paint layer that protects your industrial equipment for the long-haul against corrosion from acids, salt, oils, and abrasion.
